Kingdoms Discussion [Name Pending]

AKA Kingdoms, RPGWorld, the WOW of WOWcraft- WOW. Name pending.

Until this becomes a reality it will share the same forum as vanilla Minecraft.

This is a server that would heavily rely upon plugins such as mcmmo, Legend quest and various other game changing plugins that add spells, wizardry and rpg/mmorpg like elements to the standard minecraft game. Also, this server wouldn't utilize Forge or mods as the such, so players don't have to deal with a modpack (however in future instances of this I could utilize Forge.) Place your thoughts, suggestions or cat pictures below. (disclaimer, don't post cat pictures below.)

Classes so far planned

Healer
  • Cleric -heavily armored main focus healing
    • Templar -heals and places divine protection upon allies
    • Inquisitor -heals and judges the enemies that dare face them
  • Shaman- dressed in chain, main focus to empower and buff
    • Mystic -calls upon the elements to aid them
    • Druid -calls upon nature to come to their call
Fighter
  • Warrior -armed with iron, designed to taunt and protect, or bash and chop
    • Berserker -armed with an axe, lots of bleeding and screaming
    • Defender -Diverts attention to themselves and inspires allies.
  • Knight -invoking upon celestial deities, their main focus is to protect and inspire
    • Paladin -heals allies and consecrates the ground, undead beware, protects allies
    • Blackguard -invokes dark magic upon enemies, steals life, protects allies.
Scout
  • Rogue -sneaking around, their main focus is to take out targets fast.
    • Ranger -master of the bow, can summon animal companions
    • Assassin -master of stealth an poison
  • Bard -Playing inspiring songs, their main focus is to buff and debuff
    • Minstrel -buffs the party with songs and even rejuvenates them with a melody.
    • Spy (name pending) -infiltrates and plays cursing songs.
Mage
  • Sorcerer -Flashy and big! their spells tend to cause death to rain down.
    • Wizard -makes guys explode with magic, master of arcane
    • Warlock -Sunders armor and devastates with decaying effects
  • Summoner -using illusion and sometimes manipulating the dead, summoners tend to manipulate matter first.
    • Necromancer -summons the undead to aid themselves, steals life
    • Illusionist -a master of invisibility, uses mind altering magic on enemies
At level 150 you will have a class be considered "Mastered" then you can move onto the next down the list. There will also be some artisan classes planned, that you have to level by gathering materials and are better suited for such.

Races are still being planned with, however this new plugin should work well for it, and better synergies with classes.
Suggest a race! besides merfolk, thats already planned, and basic elf/human/dwarf/half-race/orc.

Plugins are needed to be discussed at first. Mcmmo, Towny, Heroes, Portable horses (if its working), craftbook and even a few more.

Heroes or Races and classes

I've hit a sort of snag for what plugin will allow us to have classes. While the initial plugin was going to be Heroes, I've discovered a new one, that while adds a lot more, its lacking in some areas.

Heroes

adds parties and parent and child classes which work for basically prestige classes and other upgrades. also parties are added

Races and Classes

adds races, totems, that sort of stuff. interesting skills (traits)

These both can be used at the same time, however some features probably won't be able to be utilized at once, for example classes from both plugins. Races still would work.

I like both and i think you should use both for the classes but i feel like heroes has a better class system and you are more familiar with it. I also had an idea for an idea for some end game buffs, they would be called perfect ____ the blank being the name of the class it is basically a buff that boosts ALL abilities and maybe change the look of some of you skills to be more flashy this should probably only be for maxed out fusion classes (like the mage+warrior=warlock thing i dont know what to call it).

I'm just gonna call fusion classes "hybrid classes" instead, that's just the working title, they're gonna be more paths down from the primary profession. But I'm gonna be using both, I won't know if I can mix and match classes until I have both plugins together. but I will be including some "prestige" classes for the higher tier classes

Sad news has happened! The plugin heroes seems to not be working, this is probably due to Vault not being configured properly, or some other unknown issue. I will look into fixing it, but here is a screenshot as a teaser. Keep searching for additional plugins you would like and what you would like to see added.
